Beefor, a B2B platform for governance and management of agile teams, has just raised a seed round of R$10 million. The funds were invested by Cadmus, a Brazilian IT solutions company, which had already injected R$ 2 million in the company last year.
Most platforms focus only on workflow and productivity. There is no look at people and organizational culture. We saw this bottleneck as an opportunity and started testing the solution.
The investments are being made by Cadmus, a 100% Brazilian IT company, with more than 25 years in the market, and will be used to implement a marketing and communication strategy, human capital, infrastructure, and improvement of the product's functionalities, with the support and guidance of the Gartner consulting company.
Because of its flexibility, Beefor can be used by companies from different segments, in different departments, such as technology, human resources, product development, engineering, among others, that develop projects and need to have governance in their teams and portfolio.
The platform, focused on governance and management of teams and agile projects, already has over one hundred clients and 2,500 users. With new features incorporated weekly, besides the fact that it is the only one that looks at people, it has as important differentials the integration with major market platforms such as Jira and Azure.
For executives, it promises clarity about strategy, teams, and results through organizational OKRs, backlog management, score guide, and continuous improvement. You can also create portfolio prioritization models based on OKRs.
This is the second startup invested by Cadmus, five years ago the company invested in Liga Ágil, now successful and consolidated in the market. With the inclusion of the startup in its portfolio - which will continue to operate 100% independently.
For teams, beefor brings full visibility into their work, automates workflows, shows the temperature - combining quantitative metrics with qualitative metrics - accelerates the adoption of agile practices, and develops a consistent pace of inspection, adaptation, and continuous improvement.
